Wow... it's been a while!

First off, school keeps me way too busy to do stuff I want to do!! :(
Also, I keep forgetting to update this blog. (If you can even call it a blog with this few posts)

Since I've been on hiatus from my favorite hobby for a while, I should compile a list of subjects I'd want to try photographing (so that I can at least have reference/a check list)

* fast vs. slow shutter speed shots (hafta wait til I get my hands on a SLR)
* SF shots
* Berkeley campus
* portraits
* artsy still life shots

School's been too hectic for me to think of purchasing a DSLR. But if I can keep track of all the crazy shots I want to take once I buy one, hopefully I won't forget.

At the very least, here's a shot of the Transamerica Pyramid I took last month.
Enjoy!

Thank you MUNI for the lovely black semi-border!

Random Postponement

So... I finished the basic coding for the website at the beginning of this month. (Kinda forced myself to finish as much as possible) And this evening, I think I just topped it off with the cherry... except it fell off. Putting metaphors aside, I was able to get the sizes for the thumblinks down (I think they look awesome!) but now I'm having issues with the gallery. Hmmm, I guess I need to mess around with it a bit more before I can turn in paperwork to get my own website! *Squeal* (sorry, this is what you get when I'm random)

Well, here's a preview of the portfolio portion of the website:

Progress?

Well, it's been two months since my very first post, and how far has my website come along? Not very much. Because I'm still a college student (engineering major, mind you) I don't have much time to just sit down and do whatever I want. Also, motivation is a bit dead right now, but that's besides the point.

I was able to find my old CDs with my images that I've taken way back when, so hopefully I can sort them out before the end of the semester. Another item on my to-do list is of course the coding for my website. All I can do is cross my fingers and hope that a sudden burst of motivation will hit me like a lightning and I'll get it done in one shot... or maybe not.

On another note, my camera, a Nikon Coolpix (yes, I know it's not a DSLR, but I'm still saving up for one), is for some reason shutting down my computer everytime I try to upload new photos. Hopefully I can figure out what's wrong and get that problem fixed, or else my poor pictures will forever be trapped in the SD card... *melodramatic music*

School is like being chased by a big pair of scissors sometimes.
