Simple Yet Moving

Hey! I just realized that I haven't done any random photo-related posts that don't have to do with my three-pictures-a-day project.

Gulf Oil Disaster Pictures

This is a link I found last week which shows the extent of the massive oil spill that's been going on for over a month now. The pictures are both dramatic and disturbing.

Of all those pictures, the one of the dragonfly is the one I like the most. It's a simple picture, yet shows so much of the impact this event has on nature. It's pictures like these that make me aspire in becoming a better photographer.

Finding Inspiration

I don't know how often others have this, but I have days where I just don't know what to take pictures of. No particular reason, just because. Well, at the very least I tried getting over my laziness and went out to take pictures today.



PS: I'm still behind 41 pictures...

Just a Shadow

So I couldn't find any good shots to take, and when I finally did... well, the setting sunlight wasn't as bright as it was the minute before I took the picture, so the shadow isn't as interesting as it was when I first saw it. :(

Pictures at Dusk

Some interesting shots with sunlight disappearing, as well as indoor and neon lights.



I know the theater lights picture should've been horizontal, but since my point-and-shoot doesn't do wide angle shots, it would've cut off the sign either way, sadly. :(

PS: I still owe 41 pictures... I'll do it slowly but surely!

Done with Semester!!!

I'm finally done with spring semester!!! Now before summer session starts, I need to catch up with photos. :(

Needing a Break

So I'm going to be taking a break for a bit. (Hopefully it will be at most a week or two) It's busy season/crunch time with finals coming up and with all that, I won't be able to take pictures as often as I had hoped. I do, however, plant to make up for the missing pictures slowly, but eventually.

Out For a Walk

It's been a long time since I went to Looking Glass Photo, so I decided to take a walk down Telegraph. Sad to say, I couldn't really get any impressive shots, but normal around-Berkeley pictures. :(

UC Berkeley on Finals Week

Meh, they are... not me. (Well, not yet at least) I've got another few weeks before finals for me, but the weather this morning was really depressing, with the random rain (didn't even think about carrying an umbrella, but had a hood on my jacket).

Somewhat of an unproductive day today, and I never got around to getting that third photo... :(
