Trainride Home

Instead of taking a plane or car back to SoCal, I decided to try out the American train system. With two train rides and two bus rides, I made it back home in about 12 hours or so.

As interesting as the experience was, I don't think I'll be doing it again for a while. Not for another year, at least.

Here are two pictures from yesterday:

Cookie Time!

Today was one of those random spurts of motivation to do random stuff moments.

Cookie baking! (I made regular chocolate chip cookies as well, but didn't take any pictures of them)

Small trip to IKEA, and thought the design on the outside was cool! :P

Itsy Bitsy Spider...

You don't often see spider webs out in the open too much, they tend to be in corners or low/dark spots.

I didn't have a water sprayer to show the web, but nonetheless took a few pictures of the spider. :)

And the other pictures I took...

Eating Out! (2 days in a row)...

I always try to limit myself from eating out often, but there was a Circle K meeting at Kips, so I just had to join for dinner! ;D

Mmmmm... too bad the lighting wasn't that great. :(

Oh, and here are some different angled shots of the construction in front of Dwinelle Hall. :P

Dinner!

My shot at food photography again...

Sorry for the lack of creativity with angles. I took more pictures, but because of focus and other whatnot reasons, they didn't make the cut.

And yes, the food was good! ;D

Study Time

Yes, I do get work done while I'm at the library. (although the pictures may not seem like it)

It's actually a nice stress reliever for me and a nice break time! :)

This Week's Contests

Ok, I goofed and was ridiculously late for the last challenge. *fail*

So, anyways, this week's challenge is called "close to home". I already have some ideas on what type of pictures I want to take, but we'll see how it turns out. Like last time, I've set my deadline to be by Friday.

Also, I found a monthly photo challenge, which will hopefully give me more time to get done. August theme is "landscape". Again, I have a few ideas for this one too, but we'll see. Hopefully I'll have this one done on time as in before September! -___-
