Random Postponement

So... I finished the basic coding for the website at the beginning of this month. (Kinda forced myself to finish as much as possible) And this evening, I think I just topped it off with the cherry... except it fell off. Putting metaphors aside, I was able to get the sizes for the thumblinks down (I think they look awesome!) but now I'm having issues with the gallery. Hmmm, I guess I need to mess around with it a bit more before I can turn in paperwork to get my own website! *Squeal* (sorry, this is what you get when I'm random)

Progress?

Well, it's been two months since my very first post, and how far has my website come along? Not very much. Because I'm still a college student (engineering major, mind you) I don't have much time to just sit down and do whatever I want. Also, motivation is a bit dead right now, but that's besides the point.

I was able to find my old CDs with my images that I've taken way back when, so hopefully I can sort them out before the end of the semester. Another item on my to-do list is of course the coding for my website. All I can do is cross my fingers and hope that a sudden burst of motivation will hit me like a lightning and I'll get it done in one shot... or maybe not.

On another note, my camera, a Nikon Coolpix (yes, I know it's not a DSLR, but I'm still saving up for one), is for some reason shutting down my computer everytime I try to upload new photos. Hopefully I can figure out what's wrong and get that problem fixed, or else my poor pictures will forever be trapped in the SD card... *melodramatic music*

What comes first? A website or the blog? Well, in this case the blog. I've been trying to code my website and it turns out that's going to have to wait at least another month. I've yet to change the size of the many photos to add, but hopefully that can be done within the upcoming weeks.

Aside from my measly attempt at getting the website rolling, I've been on an interesting hiatus from taking pictures. It's weird, but one day it felt as if I had no time to stop and take pictures. Somehow I drifted from what used to be my favorite hobby.

This blog is for two reasons: to go with my website and to get myself back on track with photography.
