CS 5!!!!

So I finally saw preview videos of the upcoming CS5. And I must say that it looks awesome! But at the same time I'm not sure if I'd want to get it or not. Just like previous upgrades of Creative Suites, all the new features added look cool. Yet, do I really have the money to shell out just to upgrade when I hardly touch my CS3 (which I had really really wanted when it came out)? No offense Adobe, but I think I'll pass. Maybe to those who use Photoshop almost everyday of their lives and can't work without it, but for me, who barely does any post-processing, I think I'll be ok without it.

Flying Back

So flying back from Long Beach Airport was a whole different story. As suggested, I arrived at the airport early, only to be told my flight was delayed by an hour. Okay... so I'm going to be waiting around 3 hours, I'll find something to keep my mind occupied. After finally boarding the plane, takeoff gets delayed even more, about another 45 minutes to the already delayed departure time. Finally when we get to SFO, we're greeted by rain, in which we're stuck in the plane, waiting for the gate to open up. Oh, so after I finally get off the plane, get my luggage, I get to the BART station, only to see the train leave... Yeah, it's easy to tell that I kept myself occupied during those wait times by taking a lot of pictures. -______-

While being bored, I decided to shake the camera while the shutter button was pressed, turned out interesting. :)

Morning Walk

There's that feeling in the morning where you feel you can accomplish a lot that day. It doesn't come by me often, but I decided to go on a walk in the morning with my dad. Although I was grumbling and didn't want to go outside, by the end, I was happy I went, and really hungry too. :P

Laziness from Break

It's really nice being able to sleep in past noon almost everyday and not have to worry about being late to class or a midterm. Anyways, I finally went out today, and managed to get only 2 good shots.

Note to self: I still owe 4 pictures. -____-

When All Else Fails...

There are times when I'm out taking pictures and I wonder how do I make this shot come out great? All photographers have their own style, just like any other artist of any medium. I tend to fall back on the basics of photography when I don't know how to photograph certain subjects.

The (one and only) Rule of Thirds: The golden rule in photography of having the subject one third from from edge of the frame. It's probably the first rule that I learned way back when I was taking Photo 1A in high school, but seriously, when I can't figure out a good way to capture the subject, I tend to go back to this. It's probably because it's meant to be "safe" method to rely if all else fails, but at the same time, personally, after so many photographs with this rule tends to get boring.

Odds-'N-Ends

Nothing really special with today's pictures, mostly still life shots of objects and plants. Yay exercise!! :)

Home Sweet Home

Being back home is great! I got to be very lazy today, but decided I needed to go out and take pictures so I did. Hadn't taken pictures around here in a while, so it was fun walking around. :) You never know what you'll find.

The ladybug might be out of focus. I was playing around with the macro function on my camera and I don't know how good it is. :/

It was also a pain in the neck trying to get a couple good shots in before the camera battery died. Thankfully, I was able to get them.

Fly Time

For spring break, I decided to fly with JetBlue for the first time. Surprisingly, they are located in the International terminal of SFO, which I thought was absolutely beautiful (and a lot cleaner too). So yeah, having arrived early, I took a lot of pictures of the terminal (as well as at the BART station, while waiting to leave Berkeley)
Berkeley BART station

Waiting for the transfer at MacArthur station

Shiny tiles + reflections = Awesome shots for a bored person :P

Landing into Long Beach Airport!

Yes yes, I know I posted a lot of pictures once again. I need to learn to cut back on pictures more. :(
